I have been testing out some new square patterns. I found one for a 12" square that I am in love with. Several ladies from the friendship-ghan CAL are getting this square. I am using lots of different color combinations and they all look great.
I did one tonight that turned out fine I guess. Just sort of boring looking. I am half way through this other square and am not sure if I actually like it. To me it looks like organized chaos. I will look at it in the morning in different light and fresh eyes. I may like it better then.
I did receive my first square in the mail Friday. It is really beautiful and I can't figure out how on earth she made it! It is like all the stitches are going different directions.
My husband said she should be my crochet guru. My daughter wants an afghan made entirely out of that pattern.
I was able to work on several of my projects a little bit this weekend. I still need to get to the post office to get some of this shipped off. My out pile is getting sort of tall.
