Fun "day off"

Today I did absolute;y no crocheting.
Instead I drove my daughter to her boyfriends house for the day, then the three boys and myself went to town. We ran a few errands, had lunch at Burger King (we eat out maybe once or twice a month, so this was a treat for them) We went to the toy store and the 2 younger ones got a new toy. Then my oldest went in to his dad's shop for a few hours to bang on some metal in a manly fashion plus some male bonding type stuff.
After that I took the remaining 2 boys to the local park where a "festival" type thing was going on. Mostly it was a bunch of vendors lined up on the sidewalk, a few bouncy houses, a train ride (a tractor like vehicle made to look like a train pulling homemade train cars) there was a live band playing, a few games for the kids to win prizes. Plus it was at the park so there was playground equipment.
 Tired yet?
 Too bad there's more!
After we left there I still needed to do my weekly shopping. We headed over to Walmart and did some grocery shopping. I forgot my list so I didn't get an entire weeks worth of groceries. I have to make another trip for the rest.
We arrived home about 45 minutes before my son and husband did.
Then it was time to clean up around the house a little and make dinner.
Our dinner movie tonight was Tangled. I guess this movie is geared towards girls since it is based around a princess and all. But there are roughians and adventure and an awesome horse. So it is no big deal for my boys to watch it too. They didn't get all teary eyed and emotional like I did though. (DAMN YOU DISNEY!) It is a very good movie and I would tell anyone to watch it.

Right now it is almost 10:00 p.m. and I think I am going to send us all to bed. We are all going to have a very good nights sleep tonight that's for sure!

Tangled is a GREAT movie! I've got two girls (5 and 2), so all I get to watch are the Disney princess movies and Barbie movies. :)
