Merry St. Valentine's Eve.

T'was the night before Christmas eve and all the mythical creatures thought it would be funny, to pull a prank on the ol' Easter Bunny.

You see,St. Nick finished early, his elves were all done. The reindeer were fed,the songs were all sung.
His telephone rang and he started to grin. I ideas started coming, now the fun can begin.

Now the idea was simple, and could be done in a flash. This very well could be the next Christmas smash.
They all had their own special part. The leprechauns, tooth fairies,Mr. Sandman and even Cupid with his cute little heart.

They all joined together on this cold winter's day. Everyone excited about this joke they would play.

All of them climbed onto Santa's sleigh, the reindeer were hooked up and ready to go. Poor Cupid shivered,he's not dressed for the snow.

With a flick of the reins they were off in the night. They knew they must be quick and get it right.

They made it to the bunny's house just as quick as can be. The plan was started with a 1,2,3!

The sandman was first on the scene. He sprinkled the bunny with a little extra sleep dust, now longer he will stay in his dream.

The rest got to work on their part of this tale. They had to be quiet or this would all fail.

Some were busy changing the calendars and resetting the clocks. Others were out removing snow from the grass and the rocks.

The leprechauns were making the grass to look green. The tooth fairies were adding flowers to go with the scene.

Now it was time to sit back and wait. Would the Easter Bunny fall for their bait?

As the bunny awoke and took a long look around. Something's not right, To the window he bound!
The snow has all melted, has he slept until spring? He has to get busy! Eggs he must bring.
He dyed and he colored all in a flash. The candy this year all of it he must pass!

House to house he crept, leaving baskets on their step.

In his haste that night he didn't notice the lights.
The trees all decorated in red and green,by the rabbit went unseen.

He delivered his eggs and was home before dawn. He sat down and let out a yawn.

This is when our pranksters let out a chuckle. Santa laughed hardest, his hands on his belt buckle.

The poor bunny wasn't sure what this was about. They all sat around and told how this played out.

Now this Christmas Eve morning,if you find bright colored eggs at your door, just know that Santa and his friends had some extra time on their hands once more.

If you are wondering why Santa would be behind such a silly prank,he must have been coerced!
Well my dear, the rest of the year is long and dull. Who do you think came up with pranking on each April first?

Dear Santa

This year after filling the kids stockings, I would really like a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. I don't really want a laptop. Seeing as how most electronic devices in this house magically disappear.

Reactions

I was asked about the reactions tabs under my posts.

In order for you to make those say what you would like just follow these steps.

 1. Go to your dashboard and click on the design tab.
 2. Find the section labeled blog posts and click on edit.
 3. In the new box that pops up make sure the little box marked reactions is checked and click on edit.
4.In this section you can now write 2 or 3 things separated by commas. Make it short and sweet or it won't show up. Example--- yes,no ---hot,cold,warm --- rock on,fail --- the good, the bad,the ugly ---- etc....etc...etc...
5.Click on save and Viola there you go.

You may still have to click on save changes on the design page if that is an option.

 I hope this helped.

I was just thinking....

Ok so no I haven't gotten up to do anything yet since I said I would last post.
I have been reading others blogs and adding comments and what not.

My friend keeps trying to get me to write a book! How crazy is that? Mostly this comes from all the texts her and I send back and forth all day. I am sometimes caring and compassionate, witty and insightful, or just plain off the wall crazy! I told her that I will just continue to send the texts her way and she can write them down and we can make the book together. I sometimes channel Dr. Phil I think and can talk sense into most people even though I know that if I received the same advice I would not take it myself. (for the most part) Then again I have moments where I have these crazy brain ideas that would make even the craziest of people shake their heads and wonder what I was talking about.

I have numerous ideas on several subjects, but I just don't think I could channel enough into a single idea to make a book. Not to mention IF (probably not) I did make a book I do not know a soul to take it to in the publishing world to get anywhere with it.

So for now I will continue to torment my poor friend (I love you <3 ) and all of you fine folks with all the insane things that go on inside my head.

Good Morning,Afternoon or evening. Depending on what time zone you are in.

I did have a very informative post that I wanted to write up for all of you. BUT....my computer has now refused to recognize my sd card from my camera. SO..a detailed "how to" post is worthless without the visual aid that goes along with it.
I may have to go back and retake my pictures with the camera on my phone. UGH! I don't really want to but if that is the only way to get the post I want then I will.

I also wanted to make a quick note that yes I did start knitting again. NO I am not trying to make the socks I talked about before. But I have been making cell phone holders/purses and am now currently making myself a pair of fingerless gloves. I think the real term is a wristlet. Either way I hope it turns out decent. Right now I feel like it is going to look to plain and drab and look like something that a beginner made.

I had found this really cool app for my iPod touch (since I can't afford to have an iPhone) and it has just about any knitting or crochet pattern you can think of.

I do have to say for now I still prefer to crochet since things seem to get made faster. It may just be experience that makes it go faster I don't know. I am pretty slow at knitting.

I am a child of the instant gratification era. Fast food, movies on demand, high speed dsl, cell phones and txt messaging have made life move at lightning speed.
Which is why needlepoint and embroidery are out of the question for me. If I am working on a project for an hour and haven't seen results yet then I am not doing it anymore.

I could also chalk it up to having four kids and at least 3 of them have a form of ADHD. I am always on the go with them or dealing with their aftermath. (mini indoor tornadoes as they are called around here)

Now my very own (undiagnosed) ADD is making me think of a hundred other things I need to be doing right now and maybe....just maybe I will get a couple of those things done.

Take care everyone, stay warm and Happy Holidays!
